'Ghost Rider 2 - Spirit Of Vengeance' Should Ride To The Garbage Dump

Ghost Rider 2 - Spirit Of Vengeance was something that I wish I had never seen. Technically, there is no "2" in the title, but I think that there should be. If you liked the first one, I do not recommend seeing this one. The script (a.k.a. screenplay) was not written very well and the cinematography was not always very good. This Ghost Rider sequel was directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank, Crank: High Voltage, and Gamer) and they also did much of the cinematography, mainly the parts of the movie where it is close up or a lot of movement (Example: a motorcycle on a curvy road. They follow it on rollerblades). The producers chose this directing team because they are familiar with working on a medium-sized budget and, obviously, it shows, because it's awful.
However, most of the actors did a good job, but not the boy. I personally like Nicolas Cage and most of his movies. The visual effects of the fire-blazoned helmet, motorcycle, and whatever else are always the main attraction. I recommend skipping it or borrowing the DVD or Blu-Ray disc from a friend. I give it 5/10 stars. Below is a theatrical trailer.
